My Practice

I understand the need for confidential and comprehensive care.  Because I am not contracted with any large medical corporation or insurer, 

I can focus more directly on my patients' individual needs.

While many psychiatrists primarily prescribe medications, my practice is focused on individual psychotherapy. I attempt to help patients understand the underlying reasons for their problems, so they can make better choices and change long-standing patterns that are not working for them. When medications may be appropriate to help control particular symptoms, I discuss this thoroughly so that patients can make their own informed decisions.
